Pastor Joshua uses Abraham as an illustration to show the promises in Union. Abraham gave God glory based on his promise, not his circumstance. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God. Despite what we see, we learn to rest in His promises; if He said it, He will do it.
